POLICY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DOCUMENTS FOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF POLICY COVER AND BASIC FUNERAL BENEFITS
A claim is payable on the event of one of the insured life's passes on.
​
Cover will lapse within 2 months if payment is due for more then the specified number of months above
​•The Term; Eligible or Biological Children, refers to your biological children whom you share the same "Surname" with.
(YOU MUST SHARE THE SAME SURNAME WITH YOUR IMMIDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS), this means your Wife and Children, others will be referred to as Extended Family Members.
​
•The Minimum Entry Age for the Policyholder is 18 years. The Maximum Entry age for the Policyholder will be 74 / 84 years, in respect to My Family Policy Cover and Lesedi Cover Plan.
​
•There is no cessation age, the Policyholder is covered until death.
​
•Only one (1)benefit plan per member, i.e. if one insured live opt for a particular benefit, then it will be compulsory for all insured lives to opt for that particular benefit.
​
•6 months waiting period will be applicable for claims in respect of the Policyholder, Spouse, and Eligible Children and extended family members.
​
•Accidental death claims will be paid immediately provided that the policy is in force, and we have received the 1st premium. In other words, no waiting period is applicable, in respect to My Family Policy Cover only

Legible Claims can be paid within 72hrs.
